James Harrison’s Mom Should Play For The Steeler’s!

After reading the story about James Harrison‘s mom getting arrested on Thursday, I got to thinking.  .  . I came to the conclusion that what the Steelers are lacking is the will to fight and to stand up for themselves.  Obviously Mildred Harrison’s not afraid of either. From what I was reading, there were tables turned over and beer bottles broken. Food laying all over the place and people getting punched, kind of like an old fashioned bar fight. I only wish that the Steelers would start to play with the same amount of intensity!

Maybe Stefan Logan isn’t going to return kicks or punts anymore. If this is the case, why keep him around? If they get rid of him, they will have room to sign Mrs. Harrison. I know that this probably won’t happen though, because Tomlin never listens to any of my good ideas. Like the time I suggested that Limas Sweed and Ike Taylor partner up in a football catching contest. They could throw the ball back and forth to each other and every time one of them catches it, they donate $1 to charity. They could do 100 throws every practice for the rest of the year. I thought it was a great way to raise money, but coach said we would make more money collecting cans to recycle. Let’s be honest, what’s the chance of either of them catching a ball? Oh well, can’t say I didn’t try!

James Harrison BookBy the way, speaking of James Harrison, I found a new book about him called, Never Give Up. Its about his journey as a football player and all the times that he got cut by Pittsburgh and Baltimore before finally making it. The beginning is in his own words about the interception returned for a touchdown in the Superbowl. This would make a pretty good Christmas gift for any Steeler fan!

Here’s part of a review that I found on Amazon about this book:

“James Harrison may not be the first person one would expect valuable life advice from but this book imparts some haltingly wise anecdotes and a unique and unending pursuit that I found inspiring. The book fulfills public curiosity in regards to Harrison’s controversial issues while illuminating his character and outlook.”
