Steelers Win. . . In Spite Of Play Calling

Steelers Win! Finally the Steelers play like a team that wants to win. As much as I want to bitch and moan about the play calling, I am going to let it go for tonight. Let’s just be happy with the fact that we won. There will be plenty of time to complain about this unbelievable play calling.

We have to give props to Big Ben. What a game! Mike Wallace is looking like he is the real deal and he’s not only fast, he can actually catch the ball! Limas Sweed might want to watch the tape of him and take some notes. Anyway, good job Steelers, we ain’t out of it yet.

Ok, as much as I don’t want to talk about the play calling and want to be on the positive side. . . Onside kick?!!! Are you serious? Come on Coach, I haven’t seen the defense stop anyone in the last five weeks either, but an onside kick? Wow.

    Onside kick, Ha Ha!

The first time Ike Taylor actually catches a ball and it’s illegal. Big Bro said “The one time you don’t want him to catch the ball and he does” He he!

    Too funny!

I know, the only thing better would of been if Limas Sweed jumped on to the field from the sidelines and caught the onside kick!

They’re definitely playing good this year, but until they can actually win in the playoffs, and not choke I’m not really sold yet. The NFC has a lot of good teams this year and for some reason Dallas is even playing good in December. This is a weird year. You never know though, that new kid that Philly has is pretty awesome.

Andy Reid’s 10-7 in the playoffs. Considering most years he has a first round bye, that’s against some pretty good teams. Do they win in the playoffs? Been to the super bowl once, been to 5 nfc champ games this century. pretty good, although have not won the final game.

Steelers were in all of those AFC Championship games with Cowher and only won two. None of that mattered until they finally won the Superbowl. Cowher was a bum until he won a superbowl. Andy Reid is in the same position. Is it fair? No, but that’s the way it is though. If he wins a superbowl, then he will start to get some respect. Even then he will have people saying that he should of won more, just like they say about Cowher.

People in Philly mostly like Andy. We could be in a lot worse position, think Redskins, Raiders, Browns, etc. But you’re right, people are still waiting for the big one here.
