Steelers:Change Comes At A Feverish Pace!

Don’t turn off your computer or forget to read your paper for a day or you will be lost in the whirlwind that is our Pittsburgh Steelers. When I heard that the Steelers signed Joey Galloway, my first thought was can he play cornerback or safety? Why in the world do we need another wide receiver? That was before learning more about Hines Ward and Mike Wallace’s injuries, and Limas Sweeds situation. I guess after all that, it’s not as bad as I originally thought.

It seems like nothing is going to come easy this year. Injuries being a major concern all year with Troy Polamalu and the forgotten Aaron Smith out of the line up, we can’t afford any more key players getting hurt. Judging from his past history, I figure that Hines will play on Sunday, but I guess having Galloway in the mix isn’t a bad thing. I was just wishing when I heard that the Steelers signed someone, that it was some incredible safety or cornerback. In reality, I know that there isn’t anyone out there that the Steelers would sign, I was just hoping for a Christmas miracle.

Well, we have Baltimore this week. A team that the Steelers can beat if they play like they did against Green Bay. It all depends on what team shows up. Will it be the team that beat Minnesota, San Diego, and Denver, or the team that lost to Oakland, Kansas City, and Cleveland? As weird as it sounds, if the Steelers can make it in to the playoffs, they can be a dangerous team. Wouldn’t that be something? I guess we have to see what happens on Sunday. Good luck Steelers, you have a whole nation pulling for you, the Steeler Nation.
