I know that we are all innocent until proven guilty and we don’t really know what happened with Ben Roethlisberger this time, but. . . . Am I the only one that is getting tired of the drama? Holy shit does this guy know how to make the news or what?

If it’s not almost killing himself on a motorcycle with no helmet, it’s getting accused by what seems like every girl that he interacts with. Let me say that I am not judging the guy and his personal life and I love the way he plays quarterback. There comes a time though when you are going to be considered guilty whether you did the crime or not. I already see the public’s view of Big Ben going down since the last time he was accused. He can come through this as clean as a whistle, but there will still be some people that will have their doubts about him.

As much as we want to think that it doesn’t matter what people are saying or believing, it does. The whole thing is a distraction to the team and it’s something that the team and the city of Pittsburgh can do without. There really is no good that could come out of Ben’s latest incident, whether he is innocent or guilty. The whole thing is a nightmare and as much as I love him as a quarterback, I really hope that this isn’t true. Of course Ben and anyone else has a right to go out in public and have a good time. He just might be better off staying home and not putting himself in these situations.

He’s a young, rich, and single guy that has so much going for him. As we have seen all too often though, things can change in an instant. Just look at his motorcycle accident, he wasn’t too far from not even making it out of that alive. Nobody is above it all, life happens to all of us.I just wish that it wouldn’t involve Roethlisberger every time!

This is not something that we want to even think about, but if it comes out that this girl is telling the truth, it would be heartbreaking in more ways than one. This city is so proud of the Steelers and Penguins and really take whatever happens to them personal. This city also knows the difference between right and wrong and would take it hard if one of our beloved was involved in something as disgusting as this. As a city, we really could do without all of this. Until, the truth comes out, I am sticking by Ben. If he comes out on the wrong side of this though, he needs to go. You can’t throw a football good enough to make up for something like this.
